Role Descriptions & Requirements

  • PR & Media Coordinator

Responsibilities: Organise media activities and coverage before and during the event. Arrange interviews and press engagements for the CEO and key team members. Liaise with photographers, journalists, and broadcasters.

Requirements: Excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience in PR, journalism, or media relations preferred. Confident representing the MAS brand to external partners.

  • Social Media Manager

Responsibilities: Manage official MAS social media platforms before and during the event. Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels) that reflect MAS values and energy. Coordinate live event coverage and updates.

Requirements: Skilled in social media marketing and content creation. Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Excellent writing and time management skills.

  • MAS Community Support Coordinator

Responsibilities: Manage communication and coordination through community channels (WhatsApp groups and shared spaces). Provide updates, reminders, and information to contestants, volunteers, and support staff. Support team cohesion and problem-solving.

Requirements: Excellent communication and people skills. Organised, approachable, and proactive. Comfortable using WhatsApp and online coordination tools.

  • Contestants Wellbeing Officers

Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain contestants’ areas. Support contestants’ comfort, privacy, and readiness throughout the event. Coordinate with stage management and wardrobe teams.

Requirements: Friendly, calm, and reliable under pressure. Strong sense of discretion and professionalism. Previous event, hospitality, or backstage experience is a plus.

  • Audience Liaison Managers

Responsibilities: Guide and assist guests in the main auditorium and balconies. Provide seating assistance and audience information. Ensure smooth entry, comfort, and flow of guests.

Requirements: Confident with public interaction. Friendly, professional, and courteous. Available throughout the event duration.

  • MAS Welfare Managers

Responsibilities: Manage key hospitality and welfare areas (Front desk, Audience/vendors/refreshments). Support smooth event logistics and wellbeing of all involved.

Requirements: Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Polite, service-oriented, and dependable. Team player with attention to detail.
